Dr. Farid Nikfar
DMD
Dr. Farid Nikfar graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2008. He worked for the following three years in the North West Territories, Yukon, and in Alberta. Dr. Nikfar has worked in Port Alberni since 2011, and in 2017 has taken over as head Dentist in the practice formerly run by Dr. Roland Nystrom. He makes it a priority to foster a warm and comfortable environment for all of his patients while providing optimal comprehensive care. He is committed to refining his skills and staying current with the latest techniques and technologies. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and spending time with his family and friends.

Certified Dental Assistant / Office Manager
Holly was born and raised in Port Alberni. She graduated in 1979 from Malaspina College in Nanaimo as a Certified Dental Assistant. She has worked in several practices throughout her career and is now managing our office while still loving her time with our patients. In her spare time, Holly enjoys camping all over Vancouver Island and spending time with her family and friends.

Receptionist
Jeanette has resided in Port Alberni since 1974. She graduated as a Certified Dental Assistant in 1975 when she started to work with Dr. Roland Nystrom, and now is our warm and friendly face at the front desk with Dr. Nikfar. Jeanette enjoys playing pickleball, ping pong, and spending time with her two children and four beautiful grandchildren.
Catherine
Registered Hygienist
Catherine was born in Chili and moved to Port Alberni in 1993. She started out as a Certified Dental Assistant in the year 2000 and then went on to graduate with Camosun College in 2012 as a Registered Hygienist. In her spare time, Catherine enjoys the mountains, outdoors, and a passion for hiking.

Sue graduated as a CDA from Vancouver Community College in 1989. Enjoying working and living in Port Alberni.

Born and raised in Port Alberni. Moved away for 20 years but always drawn to return. Graduated as a Certified Dental Assistant from Camosun College, Victoria in 1992.
Enthusiastic about being a part of the dental care team at Dr. Farid Nikfar`s office as a Dental Receptionist and Office assistant. Enjoys family, friends and the outdoors/nature on beautiful Vancouver Island.
